I fell in love with yoga during my dance training when I was struck by both the physical and mental benefits of yoga. For me, yoga is a practice of tuning in and connecting to myself, and being fully present with whatever arises. I love seeing the benefits of yoga in students and am continuously inspired by the power of this wonderful practice.

I teach an energizing but calming class, in Vinyasa Flow style, suitable for beginners as well as more experienced yogis. I find the use of breath and developing a mindful awareness are crucial components of the practice. My classes reflect a good understanding and passion for movement and precise alignment from many years of dance training. They include moving through and holding asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), short meditation and guided relaxation. I respond to the students’ needs, so the classes can range from more restorative to quite energetic, but the students are always encouraged to listen to their bodies.

I hold an Advanced 500hr teacher training certificate in Vinyasa Flow Yoga as well as specialist Pregnancy and Yoga Nidra teaching qualifications. Previously I trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance and hold BA and MA degrees in dance theatre from Laban centre. I believe dance and yoga are both wonderful practices which can offer numerous benefits and really make a difference to people’s lives.

I have many years of teaching experience and very much enjoy teaching pregnancy and postnatal yoga. I am inspired by how supportive, empowering and resourceful yoga can be to women in this precious stage in life. I have experienced this first hand myself through my own pregnancy and journey into motherhood. I hold an advanced 500hr teacher training certificate in Vinyasa Flow Yoga as well as specialist Pregnancy and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) teaching qualifications. I recently joined the YogaLondon's pregnancy teacher training team.
