Pregnancy Yoga with Alenka Herman

Pregnancy yoga is a wonderful way to stay active during your pregnancy. It will help relieve any pregnancy related aches and pains, encourage bonding with your baby bump and build the physical strength in preparation for birth. We will use adapted yoga poses, fluid movement and learn useful birthing positions as well as breathing meditations and visualisations. These will help you stay comfortable, balanced and calm throughout pregnancy and give you tools to feel prepared, empowered and positive for birth and motherhood.

I have many years of teaching experience and very much enjoy teaching pregnancy and postnatal yoga. I am inspired by seeing how supportive, empowering and resourceful yoga can be to women in this precious stage in life. I have experienced this first hand myself through my own pregnancy and journey into motherhood. I hold an Advanced 500hr teacher training certificate in Vinyasa Flow Yoga as well as specialist Pregnancy and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) teaching qualifications. I recently joined the YogaLondon's pregnancy teacher training team.

Pregnancy Yoga with Sarah Hanks

Are you pregnant and looking for some gentle exercise which will benefit you and your baby - body and mind?

I am an experienced yoga teacher, with my own little boy, so I know about the joys and trials and tribulations of pregnancy. During my classes you will learn about labour and birth so that your confidence and calmness increases and any feelings of fear and anxiety are reduced.

My approach is entirely holistic; I believe in addressing the needs of each woman in small supportive classes. The tools that you will learn in these classes will not only prepare you for labour and birth but also for the journey of motherhood. They are life-changing skills suitable for all women at all levels of fitness.I offer a thoughtful and gentle approach, which is both innovative and grounded in traditional practice. With over a decade of full time teaching experience, I have a loyal following of students, which I hope is testament to my work.
