Yoga has changed my life for the better. It makes me feel more balanced, calmer and stronger, both physically and mentally. Last year, I decided to take the plunge and quit my 9-5 job to travel to India and delve deeper into my practice. I completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow and I continued my journey to explore practices from traditional Hatha Yoga and the "Kayakalpa" Hatha Yoga tradition (transformation of body and mind). Ever since this experience, I knew that I wanted to share the benefits of yoga with others.

I have a special interest in the therapeutic benefits of yoga. Yoga is a medicine for many things – relieving pain and tension, improving digestion, assisting with detoxification, reducing stress and anxiety and improving sleep patterns, among many other benefits – building strength, stamina and flexibility and bringing a sense of calmness, steadiness and connection with the mind. The only way to experience it is to give it a go!

The Sunday Session: slow flow to restore

Suitable for all levels, this class aims to bring a connection between body and mind to prepare you for the week ahead. The class begins with a short breathing exercise and a full-body warm-up, before moving into a sequence of postures that flow from one to the next with mindful movement and precise alignment. Finishing with deep stretches to restore the body and a final relaxation with an (optional) essential oil massage.
