I first studied Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, graduating in 2005, and in 2011 I gained a further degree-level qualification in Oriental Herbal Medicine from the University of East London. These two strands of Chinese Medicine provide complementary approaches to your treatment, which is always shaped in accordance with the unique patterns and symptoms that each patient presents.
In my 12 years of practice, I’ve treated many conditions, from skin conditions to sleep disorders, from muscular problems to mood swings. I have especially enjoyed working with many women on their journey through conception, pregnancy and post-natal care, and then helping them if they wish to conceive again.
I've lived in Brockley for over five years, during which time I've been treating patients in Waterloo. Previously I lived in Surrey when I had a busy practice near Guildford as well as Waterloo. I'm looking forward to joining the team at the Sunflower Centre and working in my local community again.
I am a full member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM), which is the leading professional regulator of practitioners who are both Acupuncturists and Chinese Herbalists in the UK. I am also a member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM). As such, my practice is fully insured and I am bound by the Codes of Conduct of both professional associations.
Chinese Medicine is a rich and diverse form of medicine and professional acupuncturists continue their training via CPD. I have completed a range of different specific training courses over the years, including Dr Trevor Wing's course in Chinese Medicine for Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
I offer acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Sunflower Centre on Wednesday afternoon/evenings, Thursdays and Friday mornings.
