Not for profit workshop: Aromatherapy
Using Aromatherapy to Supercharge your Skin
Our skin is our largest organ and we all want to look in the mirror and see a healthy, glowing complexion smiling back at us.
This April join Aromatherapist & Natural Product Maker Vanessa Afful for her skin care workshop where you learn how to keep your skin revitalised and nourished using Aromatherapy and Massage.
The workshop will look at which essential oils and vegetable oils are good for your skin as well as looking at common issues. There will also be some tips on feeding your skin from within.
Attendees will make a face oil and moisturising cream to use at home, you’ll also be given some recipes and massage techniques to try at home.
Based at Bellenden Therapies in Peckham, Vanessa has been a qualified Aromatherapist for 6 years and has been making natural products for over 15 years. A member of the CHP (Complementary Health Professionals Association), her work also includes Holistic & Deep Tissue Massage, Facials and Pregnancy Massage. Vanessa is passionate about self-care and investing time in our wellbeing.
“There are no quick fixes, self-care is a lifelong journey. As with all lifelong commitments, we all fall off the wagon, but if we can incorporate small realistic changes over a period of time, we’re more likely to stick with them. Especially when we notice the positive effects they have on our health and wellbeing.”
