Alexander Technique Workshop
If you’ve been suffering from aches and pains brought on by computer use during lockdown this introductory Alexander Technique session will help give you some strategies to manage better. The workshop will be limited to a maximum of 3 people in order to maintain social distancing so book early. If there is enough interest a second session will be added at 3.30pm on the same day.
The Alexander Technique is a self-help approach to movement and posture that improves balance and coordination and promotes greater ease and freedom of movement.
Teaching the Alexander Technique is enabling the understanding of our body posture and support and how this understanding leads to improvements in everyday activities like standing, walking, sitting and bending. The ability to recognise how we hold tension in our bodies enables us to release it.
The Technique can be of benefit to everybody and can be applied to our lives in many different ways, from working at a computer to playing a musical instrument, public speaking and sports activities.

The next workshop will be 1.30 - 3 pm, Saturday 2nd October 2021
£22 for the workshop or £45 for a workshop package that includes an individual lesson at a later date
