Lucy is a Pilates teacher based in South East London who specialises in Antenatal and Postnatal exercise and injury rehabilitation. She discovered Pilates over ten years ago during dance training where she found it to be an important way of staying healthy and strong, managing and preventing injury and reducing aches and pain. She first trained with Body Control Pilates in 2015 and recently completed her studio equipment training with BASI Pilates.
Pilates can teach you how to move and breathe better and can make a real difference to how you feel day to day. Whether you use it to support another sport or activity or want to introduce a low-impact exercise that will leave you feeling energised rather than exhausted, Pilates has some great benefits. Regular practice can alleviate back and joint pain, improve strength and mobility and improve your posture.
Lucy teaches Antenatal and Postnatal classes at The Sunflower Centre and is also available for private and semi-private sessions in PIlates matwork or in Pilates studio equipment.
